Moon remix rpg adventure neogaf12/17/2023 Seeing as you've only played the original & SH3, I'd say SH2 will be more in tune with your expectations. I heard 4 was different and that it does not even take place in Silent Hill. It is a good game and has a fantastic story, but it's not my personal favourite. I heard SH2 is one of the best horror games. ^I've not read the article you linked, but that quote makes me think SB is trolling. So to each our own on what we all find scary soundtrack-wise in Silent Hill. We made it back to the car and all swore to only walk there during the morning or afternoon and NEVER in the evening or even late afternoon. Long story short, we were attacked by some flying bugs and a spider as big as my hand, to which I stomped on. So I put on Theme of Laura () and we all were happy about it except my one friend Katie. I don't know why, but that's what they all thought. They thought that song was just as terrifying as the first. I was walking merrily along while my friends were spooked still. I wasn't scared anymore, I was hopeful? I don't know the right word for it, but I was hopeful we'd all make it back to the car in one piece and no creatures of the night would kill us. I was happy with the choice and it made me feel happy. My phone played Not Tomorrow () from Silent Hill 1. I decided to stop scaring my friends and play something else Silent Hill, but more happy sounding I thought. If it wasn't for our flashlights and the slight breeze that would go by I wouldn't have even thought I was even outside. It was like those sections of just total darkness in Silent Hill, and you're only armed with a flashlight. I too was scared from playing that song and walking in pitch black. :DĪfter about a minute of trying to scare my friends (and succeeding at it) they threatened to kill me and leave me for the darkness if I didn't change the music. I don't know what about it scares me, but I don't feel right. I had my phone play Innocent Moon (), which I personally find pretty scary, especially the beginning. and what better music than Silent Hill 3? None of my friends have experienced Silent Hill so why not share a little music? :p My friends were uneasy but I, being the little bastard I am, decided to add some music to our walk in total darkness. We all pulled our flashlights out and kept walking, and by flashlights I mean the apps on our phones. What we didn't take into consideration was when the sun would set and the night would take effect.Ībout 30mins from the end of the trail the darkness of night swept over the sky and we all were pretty spooked. We started walking around 5pm and figured we'd be done around 8pm at the latest and we'd be on our merry way home. This park is so large it takes about 2-3 hours to walk around it all. What I might find scary could be completely unnoticed by someone else.Ī perfect example is last year some friends and I were out walking through a large park with a lake in the middle. I think they're (I'm only talking about 1-4 here) all scary in their own rights. Which game do you think has the scariest soundtrack?
